Fira is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, and Addiction Counsellor with over 20 years of clinical experience and more than two decades of continuous professional development
She holds a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and a Master's degree with Merit in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent's University London. Her professional training began at Lomonosov Moscow State University, where she completed postgraduate studies in Counselling Psychology, followed by extensive clinical practice and specialist training across both Russia and the United Kingdom.
Throughout her career, Fira has worked within a broad range of NHS, private, and charitable mental health settings. Her clinical experience spans long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy, addiction treatment, trauma-focused therapy, couples and family work, intercultural psychotherapy, group therapy, and Cognitive Analytic Therapy for individuals with complex personality difficulties.
She has particular expertise in the areas of addiction, complex trauma, and borderline personality disorder.
