Fira is a highly qualified and broadly experienced Psychologist, Psychodynamic Psychotherapist & Addiction counsellor.

She has 18 years of clinical training and 16 years of clinical practice.

Fira’s contact with the world of therapy began in 2003 when she enrolled in a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology at Lomonosov State University in Moscow, Russia. Having
completed her diploma there, she then built on her clinical skills and expertise in Moscow, then from 2010 over the following years, in London.

During that time Fira has also gained additional professional qualifications - a Masters (with merit) in Psychotherapy and Counselling – and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, both from Regent’s University, London. She has a number of additional professional qualifications in group analysis, clinical supervision, and counselling.

Throughout her professional career in the UK, Fira has worked across the mental health sector in London, in public, private and not for profit organisations. Her experience covers
addiction and trauma focussed therapy, couple and family therapy, long term individual psychodynamic psychotherapy, intercultural psychotherapy, family and women’s therapy groups, and cognitive analytic therapy for moderate to severe personality disorders.

Fira’s expertise and professional interests are addiction and borderline personality disorder.

Fira approaches her clients with empathy, warmth and compassion for the individual, within a rigorous framework informed by her deep experience and advanced professional
qualifications.

She works fluently with clients in English and Russian.
